A type specimen book that uses a moral fairytale to showcase a redesign of the Corvel typeface.
The new Korvel typeface unifies two divergent elements: geometric and humanist design. Inspired by the pangram “Grumpy wizards make a toxic brew for their jovial queen” I created a fairytale that portrays the opposite of Korvel's unity, with a moral of how such division can lead to disaster. Representing the two opposing sides are squares for the geometric wizards and circles for the humanist queen.
